Sunday Race Results

It was Joel's turn to take a tumble during the race today, but he is okay! The team ended up in 4th place in the Lincoln 500 enduro race. Another race season ended, everyone is safe at home.

Lincoln Racing

Well, I received a phone call earlier with race results from Lincoln. There was good news and bad news. Joel won both of his races and won the season championship! Mitch came in second in his races, but still was able to win the championship for his classes, as well. So then Rob tells me that Mitch had an accident but he is okay, just banged up a little!? I asked him if they had to take him to the hospital and he said, " heck no, we made him race!" So, I am feeling very grateful that it wasn't any worse than it is, and I think I will be relieved when the last race tomorrow is over, after they win it of course! It has been a long winter, and a long race season, and I am ready for spring!

Happy Birthday, Bryce!

Bryce Nicholas Diamond was born on March 1, 2004

Bryce is 4 years old! He celebrated his birthday with a bowling party at Gerlach's Bowling Center. Bryce likes to ride his motorcycle. He loves it when Uncle Mitch comes home early and gives him rides on his big motorcycle and teaches him how to shift. He also likes to ride around in the golf cart with Grandma, and they drive it through the gnome path and sometimes over one of the small motorcycle jumps! (don't tell Grandpa!) In the summertime he likes to go around the pond and count all the frogs. Bryce likes to put puzzles together, and his favorite Nascar driver is Jimmie Johnson. Bryce is a fun boy to be with, and we sure love him a lot!

The Bucket List

Rob and I went to this movie on Saturday and it was good, but Rob absolutely loved it! I asked him what would be on his bucket list, and he said he wasn't old enough to make one yet!

Happy Birthday, Joel

This is where it all started. About thirty years ago when Joel sat on his Dad's sled in our walk out basement which was the work shop back then. Happy Birthday, Joel (a day late, but you know I am never on time)! I'm proud of you. You are the kind of person who is following his passion, and you are always willing to try new things. And isn't it funny how we both ended up the same age, 29?

Top Ten Finish

The guys finished in 10th place at the Soo I-500 race on Saturday. Not what they were looking to do, but at the Soo, it is an accomplishment just to finish the race. Glad to be home, and we are grateful for another safe race.
